Philosophy Essay Topics About Animals - What Makes Us Human?
Philosophy Essay Topics About Animals - What Makes Us Human?Philosophers have tried to answer some of the most basic questions in the field of ethics: What is the purpose of life? What do we owe to those we leave behind? What is right and wrong? But there is a third, and most important ethical question that needs answering: What is right and wrong for animals? What makes us different from them?We can teach our children's children, by sharing new ways of living, how to make our world better for all living beings. Our goal is not to make every living being feel as happy as possible, but rather to make the very best out of our best and give our children the best they could have.Morality is not merely a matter of personal choice. It is a matter of societal choice as well. With the freedom to go with the flow, you don't have to choose the more humane way, you can choose the humane way, if it suits you. Some of the things that we do in our daily lives have an impact on how much happiness or misery others experience. The condition of the oceans is directly related to our treatment of fish. Our food choices contribute to the suffering of animals. Our treatment of each other contributes to the sufferings of humans.Happiness comes from outside ourselves. It comes from finding a place where you can meet yourself, the source of happiness. And in accepting who you are, finding your place of happiness, you create a place for yourself. Thus, you are choosing your life.Life is about making choices. We all are responsible for the happiness we create in our own lives, so we should have the courage to make those choices in line with our values. And we should have the strength to be true to our values and to ourselves, and to those we leave behind.
